VenuWorks Announces Michael Silva as Chief Operating Officer

Ames, IA – VenuWorks, a leader in venue management and operations, today announced that Michael Silva will become the company’s Chief Operating Officer effective April 1, 2024, and will conclude a successful tenure as the Executive Director of the VenuWorks-managed Alliant Energy PowerHouse, the Paramount Theatre, the McGrath Amphitheatre, and the ImOn Ice Arena in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.


Silva, a native of Staten Island, NY, launched his industry career at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH in 2000; followed by positions at the Petersen Events Center (PA) and the Johnstown War Memorial (PA), before beginning his VenuWorks career. Since being hired by VenuWorks in 2014, Silva has served as the Executive Director of the California University of PA Convocation Center, the Topeka Performing Arts Center, and CR Events Live which includes the Alliant Energy PowerHouse, the Paramount Theatre, the McGrath Amphitheatre, and the ImOn Ice Arena.

Mike’s demonstrated track record in client services, financial management, strategic planning, and employee development will enhance our strategy and growth initiatives. Silva’s new role will commence on April 1st. He will be based in Ames, Iowa at the VenuWorks Corporate offices.
