VenuWorks to Manage Paducah-McCracken County Convention and Expo Center
“We are privileged to have been selected by the Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center Corporation Board to manage and operate the Paducah-McCracken County Convention and Expo Center. We look forward to working with the Board and the venue staff to enhance the event experience for clients, patron, and the community,” said Steve Peters, President of VenuWorks.
The Paducah-McCracken County Convention and Expo Center is a multi-purpose facility with 110,000 square feet of meeting space. Conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Paducah, the facilities offer balcony access to waterfront views along the Ohio River.
“The PMCCC is extremely excited to partner with VenuWorks for the management of the Convention Center, Expo Center, and Dome Pavilion,” said Board Chair Brian Katz. “We have continually increased the number of events at the facilities and we will look forward to the addition of a state of the art kitchen in mid-2019. VenuWorks is a proven, experienced, industry leader in facilities management. We chose to partner with them to spearhead our new kitchen operations and to grow our event portfolio to include more regional events. VenuWorks will assume management of the facilities on Monday, February 4 and begin its transition plan which includes staff evaluation and reorganization, implementing new customer service systems and controls, community outreach, and collaborating with the Convention and Visitors Bureau on new sales and marketing approaches.
