VenuWorks Marketing and Ticketing VenuConnection

VenuWorks held the 2015 VenuConnection Conference for the marketing and ticketing staffs on August 25-27 at the VenuWorks managed venues in Cedar Rapids, IA. The conference kicked off with an evening that included a scavenger hunt at the U.S. Cellular Center, a tour of a local brewery and a Brit Floyd Concert at the McGrath Amphitheatre. While enjoying the concert, attendees received photo tips from VenuWorks Media Coordinator Nick Tremmel.

During the two days of meetings, Ticketmaster hosted a Client Learning Lab for the VenuWorks ticketing staff. The lab, held on the theatre stage at the Paramount Theatre, was an excellent opportunity for our ticketing professionals to share best practices with their colleagues while participating in hands on training.

Marissa Lather, keynote speaker, kicked off the marketing track with her session, Venue Marketing in the Digital World. The marketing team spent two full days learning about branding, sponsorship, online media, booking and Ticketmaster assets.

The groups gathered together each evening, enjoying social activities at the Cedar Ridge Winery, where photo lessons continued, and the Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball game.
