Executive Director – RiverCenter/Adler Theatre – Davenport, IA

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management of the Davenport campus, consisting of the River Center and Adler Theatre, providing cohesive leadership and direction to all departments and staff. This person serves as the primary liaison between VenuWorks and the City of Davenport.

Essential duties consist of various departmental and venue related initiatives to support and maintain successful operations. The following is a brief glimpse of expectations of the Associate Executive Director:
• Direct oversight of the financial management, booking, marketing, daily operations, retail operations, cleaning, and
maintenance functions.
• Maintain the booking calendar according to industry standards and the agreement with venue user groups. Negotiate rental
terms and deal points consistent with VenuWorks policies, procedures and precedents set for the venues. Schedule all regular
and annual user groups.
• Seek out new events and create in-house programming to maximize revenue to achieve annual budget requirements.
