Burnsville PAC Continues Success With Another Record Breaking Year

Burnsville, MN – The Burnsville Performing Arts Center (BPAC), managed by VenuWorks, announced on Friday that the facility once again reduced its operating deficit in 2013 by $115,872, a 37 percent decrease from 2012. Increased programming and new sponsorship revenues were large contributors to the record breaking financial success of the Center, with revenues increasing by 20 percent overall.

Highlighting the 2013 success were five (5) sold out performances by Ralphie May, Clint Black, Fab Four, Tommy Emmanual and Minneapolis-based entertainment group Rhythmic Circus. In total, attendance at the BPAC increased by 11 percent, with more than 123,000 people visiting in 2013 for events. Nearly 49 percent of those attendees were from outside the south-metro area, a 5 percent increase from the prior year.

In addition, the BPAC hosted twelve (12) wedding receptions in 2013, tripling the four (4) receptions hosted in 2012. Additional menu items increased food and beverage revenues by a $66,600 over fiscal year 2012.
